beautiful old apartment block, well-connected bus and train stops, nice common area for tea and coffee

Rooms can be small and cramped!!! The noise from the courtyard and nearby activities can be disruptive in the morning. Hot water availability fluctuated, which can be quite annoying after a long day. A better bed setup would be appreciated!!!

Hostal better than many hotels that I know. Spacious rooms, very very friendly and helpful english - speaking staff, close to the center of BCN, Casa Milla, many Gaudi's works, rooms & bathrooms clean... so I would recommend it to anyone! And they have very nice baguettes in the shop round the corner :) Gracias!

Location was excellent,the rooms were cleaned well,and the staff friendly.

Shower design and fitting useless.The water just flows down the tiled wall or shower curtain onto the base and straight onto the bathroom floor.The only way we could stop the flood was to use a wall of towels!!! The rooms are small partitioned units in an old building. Soundproofing was not adequate between the rooms. The plug is too far away from the mirror to be able to blow-dry your hair in front of it.

This was a great location! A great cafe just down the block had a breakfast/lunch selection to get us started for the day. The room gave us a place to relax between museums and beach trips. The staff helped with anything we needed. This city involves a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes! There is a lot to see!

A little difficult to find the front entrance. Make sure you have the address with you. As an American touring lots of Europe I appreciate the lack of big bright signs that take away from the architecture.

The communal area with free coffee and snacks created a lovely atmosphere, and the friendly staff made us feel welcomed, especially when they stored our luggage after check-out.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very new. The location is great for any city trips out. We chose to stay here because it was close to airport bus stop.

There was not a sign on the main front door so I would look at what the outside of the building looks like. We left very early in the morning and although there was 24 hour reception we could not find anyone to leave our keys with without waking everyone, which we did not want to do - not ideal. However the hotel had just opened so i am sure they will develop a system for key drop off over time.

Clean, centrally located and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no air conditioning in the room-only in the entrance hall! Also, there is no breakfast and the coffee machine only works after 9am.

We visited Park Güell and the Sagrada Família, both must-sees. The common area was convenient for quick snacks, and the staff were super friendly. Perfect location for exploring. Just keep in mind, the rooms are basic, so don't expect luxury!

The main downside was the noise from the street, which could be distracting at times, but we managed to sleep well after our long days of exploring.

The rooms are new-fashioned and ideal with WiFi, a kettle, back fridge...

Little and excellent hotel located so close to Casa Batllo, Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla, Placa Reial as well as various areas of interest. Helpful service, calm and fantastic staff. Outstanding & tidy rooms with a double and single bed. Super location, a few steps away from Catalunya. Also, near fashionable boutiques. Superb stay, as always.
